When I was 10
years old I used to watch Tom & Jerry every afternoon after school, it was
a vice for me. This TV show, created, written and guided by William Hanna and
Joseph Barbera, it’s about (nowadays the program keeps on TV) the relation of a
cat (Tom) and a mouse (Jerry) that live at the same house. In a normal day, Tom
always try to catch Jerry and he makes traps to get him, but Jerry is
suspicious and is always watchful of what Tom is doing. So basically, that’s
the plot, Tom tries to catch Jerry, and the mouse contrives to get away of all
Tom’s traps.
In some
episodes, the owner of these animals appears on TV but, curiously, just from
her neck till her shoes, never her face. In those cases, Tom and Jerry make a team
and try to get away from her.
Well, now
that I’m writing of this, it sounds a little bit boring, but when you start to
watch it, you just can’t stop. Actually, I would still watching it, if the
quality of the picture was the same when I was 10 years (I hate how is it now). But out of that, is a very funny program, and the creators won 7 oscars for their short films.
