Too small to see anything in concerts

In my short life I’ve been to a few concerts, most of them have been of pop music, but there are two of them that will keep on my mind forever.

Red Hot Chili Peppers (I know, they don’t play pop music, but they were the exception), I have loved this group since I had 15 years old, I used to watch their videos fascinated with the alternative Flea’s hair and Anthony’s attitude, and the only thing I wanted to do was see them live, dream that turned on reality at Lollapalooza of 2014.

I went with my best friend to see some artist, but I was specially to see Red Hot. They performed in O’Higgins Park at 22:30 hrs and were the last of doing it. I had waited for so long to this moment… and now I can say that they really sound great on live, I just can judge how the sound was because I didn’t see a shit. I couldn’t because of a stupid in front of me that moved side to side blocking me the beautiful view of one of my favourite groups, and my friend is too small so she couldn’t carry me piggyback.

But this last thing was possible on Coldplay’s concert of this year at the National Stadium.
This is the other group that I love and I went with my cousin, her friends and a friend of mine, Jorge, and in some songs he carried me piggyback so I could see the spectacular perform with fascinating lights of the group. They were really fantastic, I mean the sound, the show, the songs, and all was great. But I really have to thank my friend because we were located in General court, ‘cancha general’, and it was full of people, so that’s why without him I couldn’t have seen anything. Thanks Jorge haha.

My favourite stellar substance

In my life I have many admirable people like my grandmother, her daughter or my dad, but there’s someone who’s my life partner no matter the age difference. Álvaro is my little and only brother that I have (thanks god); he’s six years younger than me but I swear you that is the most mature of the family.

He is totally different from me, is always calm, quiet and doesn’t bother anyone, I think that’s why we get along. He worry about my parents and me, always asking if we are ok and in the case of receiving a negative answer, he just hugs us. For example, last year when he came home from school, I was destroyed in the living trying to make a mock-up for the University and I hadn’t eaten anything, and when my brother saw me was like he had guessed my situation and told me ‘hey, what kind of hamburger do you prefer?’ so he cooked for me and I melted of tenderness.
He’s like a stellar substance full of peace and love.

Álvaro has definitely lots of great things that make me love him more than anyone, but the best of him is that he’s always for me when I need it, in good and bad situations.

(I hope he never read this, because his ego will rise so high that it will crash with the Messi penalty)

If I don't die before

What I’ll be doing in 10 years time… I hate that question, actually, when people ask me that, I don’t know how to answer because I just live the moment without thinking what’s going to happen in the future. Sincerely, I can’t imagine me in 10 years , but maybe I can say some things that I want to do some years later…

In 10 years I’ll be 30, so it’s supposed that by that time I’ll have finished my college career (I hope so), so I’ll be an architect traveling around the world, visiting different architectural works of my idols, like Peter Zumthor, Oscar Niemeyer, Zaha Hadid, Ryue Nishizawa , Kengo Kuma, Sou Fujimoto, among others. Yes, I really want to travel every place that my architect salary allows, It won’t be so much haha, but I’ll be better than nothing.

The other thing that I always imagine when I think about the future, is my cousins and I in some European place making beautiful music with some people around us and clapping every time we finish a song. It’s one of those things or dreams that you say ‘someday I will do’.

And that’s all, basically trips, knowledge, different cultures, friends, party hard, alcohol, uncontrolled situations! ... No, not that much haha but so much happiness.
Serious things are for another time (:

I almost forgot saying how I imagine the world would be… I think the technology will destroy human relation  so maybe I’ll be married with a robot.

Study tour

It’s a tradition for most of schools to make a study tour at the secundary and when I was 15, my classmates and I went to Brazil, Balneario Camboriú on December for one week.

It was awesome to arrive and feel the moisture that was in the air… totally different from Chile!
The first we did was, of course, sleep haha. When we woke up we walked around the place and when night came, we went to a foam party, it was amazing!

The following days we had fun on a water park which was full of water slides, we had a mud adventure too and swam on a natural pool. We visited the Unipraias park and got in the ZipRider, a zip line with 240 high meters; It was so amazing because under us it was just only the great jungle.

We took a trip on a ‘pirate ship’ and if you wanted you could jump over the sea! That day we danced and drunk a lot of liqueur of different flavors. Of course we went to the Lightning Chris too, the city looked fabulous in the night with all the small lights… one of the last days     we  could see all the color and fantasy of Beto Carrero park.

But the best of this trip for me was the last day, because it was my birthday and my mom gave to my best friend some mony for buying me some things to celebrate as it should! I didn’t know this, so my friends surprised me the night before my birthday with a lot of junk food and blue baloons (my favourite colour is blue) in the beach!! That was so fantastic… I’ll remember for ever, the best holidays of my life till now.

'La Playa que Apaña'

As the teacher said, Chile has hundreds of great beaches and I’ve been to several of them, but my favourite is Maitencillo, which is located at Valparaíso’s region.

I used to always go with my family when I was a little girl so I have one of my best memories on this place. Later, there were some years that we went to other beaches, but since three years we went back to Maitencillo and I remembered all the good moments that I’d been through.

It’s the best place for me, there are the best ice-creams, the best meat pies, and the best cupcakes, actually when we go we eat a lot all day all days. I like this beach because is so quiet and every group of people has its own space at the moment of sunbathing; special to relax.

This beach is perfect for surfing, but I don’t know how to, so I just play ‘paletas’ with my brother and my dad, go to the craft fairs with my mom or sometimes I just lay on the beach sunbathing, although this has consequences…

However, I love go to Maitencillo, the last time I visited it was on February of this year and the best was the last day. My family and I were to a restaurant to celebrate the Love day, but who cares! Because when we were eating, suddenly appears Blanca Lewin, a Chilean actress (I love her), and in the middle of my ecstasy, comes Benjamín Vicuña to her table… I just couldn’t believe that, two great actors in one place, in one moment!!!

Here's a picture of us :)

I was so excited looking Benjamin that I lost in his eyes and I forgot to take a picture.

Well, I totally recomend visiting Maitencillo, you will not regret!
